Create a hold
- Choose section from dropdown
- Enter row and seat label (matches map labels)
- Select hold type (reserved, blocked, vip, comp, wheelchair, temp_hold)
- Submit — seat removed from public availability
Release
Release individual holds when seats should go on sale. Sold seats cannot be released without refund/cancellation.
Public checkout holds
When fans select seats, a temporary hold applies automatically during Stripe Checkout — separate from admin holds. Temp holds expire if checkout is abandoned.
Availability API
Organizers see held_seat_keys and sold_seat_keys in the seating availability view for ops monitoring.
